Mini Bio: 
Ambrose, who obtained a Governor General's Award for obtaining the highest graduating average from Brother André Catholic High School in Markham, placed fifth in the '97 OBC and first in the York Region division of the "Young Authors of Canada" competition for poetry. In addition to creative writing, Ambrose enjoys reading, painting, hiking, and camping. Ambrose, 19, was also part of his school's team that reached the provincial Reach For The Top championship. A recipient of a St. Michael's College Foundation Scholarship valued at $1,500 per year for four years, Ambrose is now studying first-year science and math at the U of T, as well as taking a course on the history of East Asian civilizations. Ambrose works part-time tutoring students in a variety of subjects and aspires for a career in genetics research or as a medical doctor.
