Mini Bio:
Diana,17, is a graduate of The Bishop Strachan School, Toronto, where she was actively involved in student life, including editor of the school newspaper, on the community service committee, coordinating peer tutoring within the school, participating on the swim and tennis teams, winning public speaking and debating competitions, playing clarinet in the wind ensemble (that won the Gold Standard at MusicFest), and receiving several school awards. Diana also placed fifth in U of T's OMTLA French competition (French immersion category). She fondly remembers her two "fantastic" biology teachers who were "very enthusiastic about biology... and always emphasized the importance of making connections." At U of T she is specializing in the life sciences, with possible minors in economics or French, or both. Diana volunteers for the Arthritis Society, Red Cross, and Hospital for Sick Children.
