Mini Bio: 
Jenny was the Toronto District School Board’s “top scholar” for 2004. Jenny was a member Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute's badminton team and the Volunteer and Charity Committee, a silver medalist at the 2003 Canada-Wide Science Fair, and a recipient of a Certificate of Recognition from the Toronto Intergenerational Partnership for her volunteering initiatives. Jenny, 18, placed seventh in the 2003 biology competition and fourth in 2004. For her high score in the 2003 competition Jenny was selected to attend the first Canadian Biology Olympiad training camp at the University of Saskatchewan, along with Ralph Zhang (profiled above) and eight other top students in the 2003 competition (who were in Grade 11 when they wrote the competition exam). Jenny received a Gold Medal at the 2004 International Biology Olympiad held in Brisbane, Australia, in July 2004. At U of T Jenny plans to specialize in molecular genetics and microbiology. In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, playing badminton, and sketching.
